Terms of Use
Effective 28 September 2026
These terms are the deal between you and FOODVIBE when you use FOODVIBE. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. If you don't, please don't use FOODVIBE.
Who can use FOODVIBE
You must be at least 13, and under the age of digital consent where you live (14 in Spain) you need a parent's permission. One account per person, and you are responsible for what happens on it.
Your content
What you post stays yours. So that FOODVIBE can work, you give us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, resize, display and distribute your content inside the service and in previews of links to it, for as long as it is on FOODVIBE. Only post what you have the right to post: your own photos, or photos you have permission to share, and recipes written in your own words. A dish with a recipe shared from a public account also has a public page on the web that credits you; the privacy policy says when it exists and how it goes away.
What is not allowed
FOODVIBE has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. Do not post or do any of the following:
- Nudity or sexual content, graphic violence, or content that promotes self-harm.
- Hate speech, harassment, threats or bullying of any person or group.
- Illegal content, or content that infringes someone else's rights.
- Other people's private information, or impersonating someone.
- Spam, scams, bots, or anything that games likes and cook-offs.
Any dish, comment or person can be reported from its ••• menu. We review reports and remove objectionable content within 24 hours, and we may remove content, limit features or close accounts that break these rules, without notice where the situation calls for it.
Cook-offs
Cook-offs are themed contests decided by likes from the community. Entries must follow these terms. Prizes are described on each cook-off and may be replaced by something of similar value; no purchase is necessary, and a cook-off is void where prohibited by law.
Challenges among friends
You can start a challenge with a theme in your own words and invite people to it. It has no prize from us and earns no vibes: it is a game among the people in it, decided by their likes. What you write as its theme is your content and follows these terms, and the people in a challenge, or invited to it, can report it. We may end a challenge that breaks them.
Plans
You can make a plan with a place, a time and people, and afterwards it keeps the dishes its people share from it. FOODVIBE books nothing and takes no responsibility for a place, its availability or what happens there: the host arranges the meal, and a place's details come from Apple Maps as they are. The name and note you write are your content and follow these terms; the people in a plan can report it and leave it, and the host can cancel it. A plan earns no vibes.
Vibes and levels
Vibes are points you earn for using FOODVIBE: sharing dishes, keeping a streak, adding recipes, entering cook-offs. They set your level and unlock ways to make the app and your profile look. They have no cash value: they cannot be bought, sold, transferred or redeemed for money, goods or services, and they are not a currency. We may change how they are earned, and we take them back when what earned them goes away, for example when you delete a dish, or when they were earned by breaking these rules.
Leaving
You can delete your account at any time from Settings, or by emailing hello@foodvibe.app. Our Privacy Policy explains what happens to your data. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
What we don't promise
FOODVIBE is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. We work to keep it running and safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free, and we are not responsible for content posted by other people. To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to what you paid us for the service, which is nothing. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that can't be limited.
Changes and law
We may update these terms; if a change matters, we will say so in the app before it takes effect. These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. If you are a consumer, you can bring claims in the courts of the place where you live.
